What was supposed to be designed and constructed for my tailoring class junior year of college before the sudden lockdown, this coat later came to fruition when the sketch was shown to the owner of the boutique, Ouimillie. Inspired by seeing the Dior exhibition in Dallas Summer of 2019, the New Look shape motivated me to make something daring with shape, detail and color while keeping femininity part of the DNA of the piece.
